The Shrimp fishery in the North Sea has been buoyant for many decades and has provided an income for local fishermen for hundreds of years. This site includes information on the fishery and will be a resource to support the fishery. The SFAWG page gives an introduction to the working group and its progress, and all supporting documentation is available from the downloads page where you will also find the "Active Vessels List" providing details of vessels signed up to the management plan and actively fishing.  Vessel owners are encouraged to check their details are correct and to inform David Guy of any changes required.  The News page shows the latest landings data available for the Harvest Control Rules (HCR).  The 2022 2023 fishing season is proving to be challenging as fuel prices escalate and catches are low, the full information from the reports is now moved to the News Page.
